The folks over at Brazilian Twitter fandom organized a Secret Saint and tonight was the gift exchange! My Secret Saint was the amazingly talented and ADORABLE @todoyamas​ 💕 

Made with Clip Studio Paint (I still can’t deal with all the amazing watercolor brushes from the Assets community)

This is sorta old and was a test on Clip Studio Paint for a new painting style (I’m testing new shit all the time and that’s why I don’t have a set painting style :’D)

But I got so fed up with the proportion/perspective mistakes (and also how their faces look two different styles, hhhh) that I didn’t let this see the light of day for months :’D Eventually I just sort of masked shit with Liquify tool and slapped some lightning fast color on it.

Idk. At least it’s OTP all cozy. 

Gods, I had to try doodling Avenir. I feel like his face is still a little generic here (I need to know where he’s from…) but that fluffy hair is made of justice and sheeposity (it’s a word now).

Also whoops accidental panel redraw, sort of. I think that expression stayed with me when I saw it in chapter 3.

This was supposed to be a coloring exercise (hence expressionless Mu with horns facing left, whoops) but hhhh I really liked the result

Those screencap redraws are really good exercise for expressions  *v* Compared to the original, I corrected some stuff (the warm colors in the rain bothered me lots), kept some stuff, made another few mistakes altogether.. :‘D

Yes, this definitely should be here. It was posted back in 2011 btw (meaning it was made in 2007), before I even planned on making an art blog :’D Man, did my Shaka change since then.

I probably should try redrawing some stuff.

Drawing cats is kind of therapeutic~ and so is coloring their fluffy coats.

Ragdoll Mu + Javanese Shaka. Mu’s fluff is absolute.

Just having some fun with Aphrodite’s face~ Also trying to mix his classic hairstyle with his LoS one.

First pic is his clean face, no makeup

Second we have an interpretation of his usual anime self with pink lipgloss and pastel blue eyeshadow

Third is matte red lipstick with sultry dark smokey eyes (he rocks it flawlessly imo)

Finally a sorta haute goth look with glossy black lips, sharp liner and lashes, darkened brows and exaggerated contouring~
