So, a little over 3 months ago my dad received the diagnostic of pancreatic cancer, already at the terminal stage
And this morning it finally claimed him.

Would spraying a top coat with matte finish counteract this perhaps? :o Since I guess it’d also protect the pieces from wear
Though I’m also worried about the kind of remover one would use for the painting so as not to harm the plastic °n°
I guess it depends on the matte topcoat but maybe it would affect the glossy look of the eyes?
I have used nail polish acetone to correct some paint smears in my Aioria EX face and it worked (the imperfection was small), but I remember I tried the same with Mu and then the face went a bit glossy. Perhaps diluting it a bit with water? Alcohol doesn’t remove the paint, that’s for sure.
It would but then it’s just a matter of brushing some gloss varnish back in :D Ngl watching bjd face ups makes me want to test a lot of techniques haha

Yup! Look at those cute profiles xD
Perhaps you can get a spare face to do that? some people that make myth customs sometimes sell pieces they’re not using (like extra heads and hands). Check in mythcloth forums!
But I have seen at least here that they have limited a lot the distribution of this particular line. My store only had 40 on preorder and all vanished xD.Although from experience, I can say that the plastic the skin is made of in the EX figures is very susceptible to any kind of liquids. Normal alcohol or even tap water to clean the plastic can make the texture shinny instead of mate. Not to mention constant handling (most of the times I wear gloves when picking pieces up). I’m not sure how it would react to fixative spray for pastel dust or watercolors :O I’d have to make tests or see if a japanese mod has done it before XD
